Long before Henry Cavill And Brandon Routh, several actors have played Superman in the cinema. But the one that many of us remember Christopher Reeves. This actor, passionate about theater from the age of 15, will be selected and admitted to the prestigious Juilliard School and will follow the courses of John Houseman. He will then continue his studies to perfect his profession as an actor at Glasgow and Paris. Between 1973 and 1975, he played in several plays in Broadway.

In 1978, he had his first film role in Save the Neptune of David Greene. From 1977, he will have the privilege of being the actor who will be chosen among 200 auditionees (among whom there were contenders James Brolin, Christopher Walken, Nick Nolte Or Jon Voight) to play Superman in the cinema.
